The shores of lake michigan where I live, get northwest winds that bring in 24 foot waves onto the beaches,
and as the lake freezes, this builds ice caves, many as big as a house. one of the locals took this photo aboot a few weeks ago, eh. ….oh ya..you know I have a few cave stories.

Get ready for an early winter.
 At home today, the temperature was 48F at mid-day. My area was the coldest area on earth, compared to seasonal norms, last January, and this whole summer has been mostly 60's for us.
