You type pretty well one-handed.

What makes you think Mitch knows anything about chasing sheep? I heard he just whistles... and they come running!

opening day of bass season - May 25th

I came home with these 3 nice large mouth! ... also a pike and a couple bluegill.
I lost maybe 5 bass, and a couple pike. Lost a few right up to the boat, that got a loud whimper out of me.

Caught most on minnows, some on worms, and a few on X-Rap Rapala's.

I'm giving those three soldiers the Samurai blessing. "It was a good death!"

Glad to hear you've been out on the boat and having some FUN!

I've been out ice fishing, but snow is so deep where I live, we can't get the snowmobiles on the lake,
so we walk out with snowshoes, pulling a sled with our gear.

Haven't found any lakers yet, but doing okay on walleye.
You can catch some nice 20 pounder lakers here too.

Just saw this video of a father and son team catching a big laker.
That looked like a Sutton flutter spoon, he was using. Good to know.

note; video has some rough language

Just saw in the local paper, the Michigan county I live in, has the most snowfall so far this year in the state, including both upper and lower peninsula's.
(Leelanau County…da little finger part of Michigan, eh)
We are over 200" total (17 foot of snowfall) and it's January yet… we're only aboot half way into winter

been out playing in the snow, getting both these stuck. Jumped off the sled once and sunk up to my knees, in waist deep snow.
You have to stick to packed trails, or you are spending all day digging yourself out.

Going to use a bob cat end loader Monday, to dig an access onto the lake, I like to fish. It's gotten too deep to handle with a 4x4 plow.

I'd have Shania wear a helmet, even if I took her to the big city to shop at the Walmart. Maybe just a cute half helmet.
Don't want to cover that pretty face of hers up, or ruin her hair-do… but the helmet protects her from my m8's who would club her over the head, and drag her home, when i'm not watching.

The snowmobile helmet makes it possible to even stay on the snowmobile or atv for very long.
When it's sub-zero temperature, and you are cruising along at 30 mph, your face would freeze in no time. In 5 minutes you'd be done, and in pain.
They are special made for the cold, and have double pane visors with a face guard inside the helmet, to keep your breath from fogging up the visor.

Bright day on the ice or a nuclear blast?
It does seem like this when you come out of a dark shelter, on a bright day.
