But, with her hormones going nuts now, it's much easier for the anxiety to rear it's head. When she has them, they're honestly for no reason - they just happen. Both doctors said that it's a very normal thing to happen as women go through the change of life.
Good do know, a couple ativan and kick to my hubby's rear end I was good as used. Luckily all the women in my family have severe PMDD (code for we are all mean beotches) so menopause really didn't change my mom's personality too much. My husband is well aware and looking forward to it in 20 years.

Again, glad to hear she's doing well!

She's doing much better. After 5 days worth of meds running through her system, she can already feel a change in things (in a good way). She is still having panic attacks, but they're getting much less intense as well as fewer. I just got off the phone with her and she said she only had 1 very minor one today.

The only downside we're seeing though is that about 1/2hr after she takes the pill, she's literally stoned. It makes for some interesting conversations. That just started last night. Luckily, she takes her pill just before bed and feels fine in the morning. She goes to see the doctor at the end of next week, so that'll definitely be brought up to see if it's normal.

Glad to hear she's doing better, Mal. Talking with a significant other in an altered state can definitely be surreal, but maybe you two can find the fun in it!

It sounds stupid but reread the instructions on the bottle, some stuff really means a FULL glass of water not just a drink. i found that out myself LOL
