Default WTF is with this weather???

2 days ago at home, they had major flash floods (3in of rain in about an hour). They're under Flash Flood & Tornado Watch's for tonight. I'm in Glendale, KY and under a Tornado Watch. There's tornado warnings all over the place. There was at least one on the ground in Indiana just west of Louisville about 90 minutes ago. This crap is EVERYWHERE.

Yep, just like last year all over again only a little further North this time. It was about this time last year that the Southeast got hammered hard.

Didn't you say you were headed for Nashville? Southern side is apparently taking a tornado right now. TWC is live saying the southwest side took a definite hit. Lexington, KY was said to have something possibly on the ground headed northeast at nearly 85 mph.

Hope Snowman7 is taking cover, just saw where a tornado was spotted crossing the Ohio River and headed his way at 55 mph. He's out near the Sardinia area IIRC which is said to be right in the path of this one. My in-laws are in the basement without power in Clermont Co, Ohio.

I-65 is completely closed in southern Indiana because of the damage to the area. The truckstop that is (was) at exit 19 is now scattered across the highway. Literally. Trucks on their side in that area, cars blown around. In other words, a disaster.

I'm in Glendale, KY and we were under a short-lived tornado warning. There was one on the ground less than 5 miles away, but it broke up by the time it got to the truckstop. When the winds hit, though, it was insane. Glad I wasn't driving down the highway when THAT hit.

Other drivers said that there's trucks wrecked all over I-65 & I-71 in KY.

Yeah, TWC is getting reports from all over of confirmed tornadoes. Just this afternoon it's jumped to 50+ tornadoes, unconfirmed though.

This is what is left of Marysville, Indiana, population 2000. Henryville to the West of it was hammered just as hard, it was nearly wiped off the map but Marysville is definitely gone.Twitter

I'm in NW corner of AL and when this storm blew in this afternoon I had quarter-sized hail blowing SIDEWAYS....after it eased up I went out and my yard looked like a snowstorm blew thru. I REALLY thought the windows on the west side of my house were going to blow in...

TWC is tracking a tornado headed into Hot-Lanta.

Hearing West Liberty, KY may have lost an officer or two who were trying to track the tornado from their cruisers only to be caught in the path of a massive tornado. Early reports are that West Liberty took a direct hit and flattened the entire place.

Good news from Indiana. Henryville High School had approx. 80 students there at the time a vicious tornado ripped thru, all 80 are alive, some injuries but nothing major. The school was destroyed.

Bad news, this stuff isn't dying down as it moves East. Report of a tornado near Murphy, NC. Going to be a long night in my area.
