Yep, she'd make an awesome Stacia McCain in the book.
We've got Duane Johnson dream cast as Hade and Ashton Kutcher cast as Petr Zhugravinsky. Demi Lovato or Megan Fox as Windy Covington. I suppose I ought to be getting the script done, eh? ![]() Now, we do have a truck driver cameo who abandoned his load in New Mexico and is worried about his DAC report. Write what you know, right? Hobo, you busy in a couple years? Seriously, the whole thing is pretty cool, no doubt. If all goes well, we could have a script accepted or being worked on by a professional script writer by the end of next year. That would be a pretty sweet deal, I think. I'm tellin' ya, there is SO much to this that it's hard to keep up with it all. Publisher told me this morning that she's looking at a March 2012 release. So we're getting closer to nailing down the date!

I think it's high time that Shania made her acting debut. "Man, I feel like a woman!!"

Would it go sumpin' like this? :deal: For my dear friend and mentor, GolfHobo...:rofl::rofl:Who taught me that there are "alternatives" to the endtime prophesies and beliefs that have kept me mired and clay-footed my whole life! Truly, YOU were the inspiration for the book... and the foundation of all my success. I thank you. My wife and kids thank you. All my future fans, and the whole world thanks you. Perhaps, I should take the time to use boldface or italics... or even underline... more often. But, it is quicker and easier to just capitalize the word I want to emphasize. I was listening to a (female) media host awhile back, and I tried to imagine her talking in a monotone. Then, I tried to imagine listening to her with my eyes closed so I couldn't see her expressions. I wondered if I would understand her meaning? I concluded that without seeing the "emoticons" of her face (or hands,) and without the increased pitch and/or volume of her voice... I would have no idea what facts or points she intended me to focus on. Had she just been reciting a list of cattle prices or local temps, I might could have understood it (though I would have changed the channel!) But by EMPHASISING her words... I was able to follow the implications and comparisons that she "intended." I am listening to a weather guy right now talking about the path and implications of IRENE... and I can hear which words he wants to stress by the pitch, tone and volume of his voice. If I were receiving his report via TTY or "closed captioning," I would have to make my own assumptions.
Thanks for being courteous.
Seriously... can you imagine a book with so many CAPITALIZED words? And all those "quotation marks" and boldface type? The editors would kill me. But, this is not a book. This is a messageboard. Look at the toolbar above the reply box!! I have options to change the font or the size... boldface and/or italicize... underscore, colorize, quoticize, bulletize and emoticize! Why?? To make it easier for ME to express myself! And YOU (as compared to the generic "you") want to make a federal case over "targeted" capitalization?? [insert OH HELL NO smile here... since they aren't working right now.] There ya go. Argument won using facts ... not YELLING! [given up on smiles now.]
Now, go audition for the movie!
