Sorry, I didn't see this thread when I posted mine.
Osama bin Laden, the glowering mastermind behind the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks that killed thousands of Americans, was slain inhis luxury hideout in Pakistan early Monday in a firefight with U.S. forces, ending a manhunt that spanned a frustrating decade.
Abbottabad is home to three Pakistan army regiments and thousands of military personnel and is dotted with military buildings. The discovery that bin Laden's was living in an army town in Pakistan raises pointed questions about how he managed to evade capture and even whether Pakistan's military and intelligence leadership knew of his whereabouts and sheltered him.
Something tells me that THEY KNEW where he was all along. I don't see him hiding a million dollar mansion right under their noses. They weren't looking for him because they KNEW exactly where he was all along. That would also explain why the government of Pakistan was not informed of the operation until it was successfully completed. They would not have given us permission to remove "their guest". Now is where Obama's "smooth talking" comes into play. To send troops into a foreign country without any notice amounts to a declaration of war. An "INTERNATIONAL INCIDENT". He's going to have to do a bit of that talking to make Pakistan the "fall guy" in the eyes of the world. I'm sure that Pakistan is a little less than over-joyed about this. It was small contingent of US Navy Seals and CIA Paramilitary. And, they went by helicopter. Across 120 miles of foreign soil for a complete surprise. Didn't know we had "STEALTH HELICOPTERS", did you? I give Obama credit on this one. Bush would have been shooting his mouth off and tipped his hand. If he knew about this one, no wonder he wasn't worried about the raids over Libya. America forgets about all that with the new sunrise.... And, the news.

They finally got him! Great job of our SEALS and our president!
I wonder how the CIA found his place. Did they act like Fletch, and wear a gown, and a beard?? However they found him, glad they did! Maybe this will help bring our country together! Back to the Red White and Blue!

I have a question concerning the death of bin Laden and the conspiracy theory freaks:
Since they say the US government did the whole 9/11 thing, are they happy that Osama is dead? If so, why? According to them, he didn't do anything - we did.

My personal belief is that anyone who believes that the merry band of raghats, including OBL, planned, facilitated and executed the events 0f 9/11 is either too lazy to look or is simply incapable of looking and reasoning beyond what has been spoon fed to them by government and government media. You're right, Malaki, he didn't do anything. 40 more freaks: "Here are 40 experts, including the Chairman, 9/11 Commission, Thomas H. Kean, Former Governor of New Jersey and Vice Chairman, 9/11 Commission, Lee Hamilton, Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Homeland Security Advisory Council ~ sounding off in short quotes about their misgivings with the 9/11 commission and the questions that are still smoldering ." OpEdNews - Article: 9/11 QUESTIONS STILL SMOLDERING Here's one of them: Foreign Service Officer, J. Michael Springman ~ "Fifteen of the nineteen people who allegedly flew airplanes into buildings in the United States got their visas from the same CIA Consulate at Jeddah" Here's a little history on OBL and his relationship with the CIA: CRG -- Who Is Osama Bin Laden? If it makes you a little curious, maybe you'll look a little deeper. If it doesn't interest you and the government's version is still good enough, so be it. A lot of people still believe our government. I don't.
