CA is bad enough as it is for oversized anything.
But once they either send you West of the 605 in So Cal, or West of the Altamont Pass in No Cal, it's a headache you'd want to get over with ASAP. I may or may not have to take this trailer down to Long Beach on Monday, I might get lucky, drop/T-Call in Fontana, then get something going back up to the Rockies.

Finished that load up. Picking up in City of Industry with a load going to Calgary, AB. Nice miles, but not looking forward to the drive up through there.

Never performed a border crossing, let alone traveled out of the country before so that's a totally different animal for me.

Just cross the Cajon Pass on I-15. It took roughly 2.5hrs to get across it. The southbound side is backed up 30+ miles on it. Lovely time of year to be here.

Where exactly is the Grapevine pass anyway? I've always heard of it, but don't have a clue where it's at.
