The streak is over
Well, after driving OTR for 10 and a half years, I have to make my first trip into California.
I deliver in Fontana on Sunday morning. Hoping they find me a preplan to get me right back out. Planning on staying at the AZ/CA border tomorrow night, then make a mad dash in-out of there on Sunday. I'd rather go to Toronto.

Sitting at the Flying J at exit 1 in AZ on I-10 now. Up until today, the furthest west I've been on I-10 was exit 103. OMG - that's the most boring stretch of highway I've ever been on (between the 103 & exit 17). Wow. I didn't know there were roads that long that didn't require so much as a slight turn of the steering wheel. I just hope they send me a different way when I head east again.

I *WISH*!!! Tell ya what, driving from Fairmont, WV to El Paso, TX, then on to Fontana, CA is one HELL of a long drive in a 62mph truck.
