Lady Gaga will rule the world in 2010. I really was never of fan of hers but this video is banging. It's also a great song for the club. I was in Phoenix for New Years Day. I played poker at the new Wild Horse Pass casino. They have a club upstairs called Airia. This song Bad Romance by Lady Gaga came on and the place went nuts. Her voice is similar to Stevie Nicks.

But, you MIGHT want to review your high school science classes. CO2 is not the culprit of global warming. CO is. By re-directing CO2 into energy for automobiles, we would be robbing the plants of their life, thereby defoliating the planet, resulting in Oxygen starvation of its Human inhabitants. Even YOU must see that as a "lose - lose" situation. [perhaps, not.]

Carbon MONOXIDE (CO) actually robs the plants of CO2 (which they need) which is why burning fossil fuels is responsible for the shrinking of the rainforests, and LIFE GIVING plant life in general.

CO (carbon monoxide) is an unstable compound and naturally attracts oxygen molecules. So, the more exhaust gases in the atmosphere (CO) the less carbon dioxide (CO2) AND OZONE (CO3) compounds.

This is why the more we pollute the atmosphere, the MORE we defoliate the plant life on Earth that we NEED for the oxygen we breath.... AND, the more we deplete the OZONE layer that protects us from not ONLY the UV rays of the sun, (not so much the heat) but also the FRIGID cold of deep space.

THAT, ladies and gentlemen of the (let's say.... "disbelieving") RIGHT WING, is why Global Warming (a misnomer in my opinion) results in the record LOW TEMPS and record snowfalls (frigid air meets particulate laden clouds) that we are experiencing today.... at a rate that EXCEEDS the normal cyclical fluctuations exhibited by our planet over the previous millions of years.

I realize it is difficult for the "average mind" [read: Republican, conservative, or "liberal hater"] who sees more snow and colder temps than usual to believe in or understand the scientific concepts of global warming.... expecially when they are soaking in the misinformation given to them by right wing "corporatist hores" who are bought and paid for by big business. As I said.... it is a misnomer.

Carbon emissions are "warmer" (in scientific language... the same terminology we use to describe Global "waming,") than pure oxygen.

Surely you've heard how rain and winds are exaggerated by "warmer" temps above oceans. So... the "warmer" the air mass above an arctic ocean, (OR the "warmer" the ocean temp,) the MORE moisture is drawn in. Once IN the atmosphere, this increased moisture is frozen by colder air masses that are introduced by air that is supercooled by the cold of space that is no longer held at bay by a healthy ozone layer. Ergo..... MORE snow!

Similarly, this "warmer" air mass hovering over the poles, is responsible for melting of icecaps. This will raise the levels of the oceans, flooding coastal areas. This is WIDELY documented!

The more FRIGID temps over land masses lately is a result of the hole in the ozone layer, (which tends to move around) allowing more frigid air in from outer space. This colder air meets more particulate laden "warmer" air and produces more snow AND colder temps.

Ever heard the term "it's too cold to snow?" This is what used to be the norm for many northern climes. Sure, they got lots of snow, but not as much as lately. Why? Because the AIR is now warmer and more full of particulates (particulates are what snow crystals form around!)

Texas , Southern California, Georgia and the like are getting MORE snow now because what USED to be just RAIN is now met with more frigid air aloft due to the depletion of the "protective" (and warming) layer of Ozone.

Michigan, New York and other states at that lattitude are getting MORE snow because, they are no LONGER "too cold to snow." The atmosphere above them is laden with particulates, the Great Lakes have changed temps, and the results are much harsher than SOME years.

Alaska, Canada (northern) and other pole areas are getting LESS snow because they are TOO cold to snow, or because they are warmer and the cold air is forced to other lattitudes. [How many years now has the Iditarod had to "TRUCK" the participants to a point farther north where there is snow?]

As I said.... Global "warming" is a misnomer. Focus only on the obvious "terminology" and listen to the naysayers.... and you will never see the results coming! Keep laughing at those who are concerned.... cuz that's what you do BEST! :roll:

One thing is obvious. According to the negative posts here for the last year or so.... MOST of you have experienced a CHANGE in your winter environment! I have to ask you to at least "consider" the question of WHY?

Sure, the normal cyclical nature of the Earth, it's orbit, and the output of the Sun would dictate another Ice Age is coming sometime in the future. The question is.... are you ready for it NOW? All known evidence shows that mankind could not have survived the earlier ones. And we always thought that we would not BE here for the NEXT one!

But, if you learn, or consider, nothing ELSE from this post (probably my last attempt to reach you,) please realize (and change your LAME responses concerning) the fact that Global Warming does NOT MEAN that you all SHOULD be swimming in a Hot Tub! It MEANS that our atmosphere is being altered due to events that (as many of you believe) GOD did NOT plan!

And the EXPECTED results of Global Warming IS, in fact, the advanced onslaught of the next (and possibly most devastating) ICE AGE.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year, and the providence of enlightenment that I fear comes NOT from God, [and CERTAINLY not from Twilight Flyer] but from self-education.
