New Members - Introduce Yourself
#614
I never got around to introducing myself here on the new drivers thread. I guess it's a bit late now. I've been reading some of the entries, and noticed that most of them never came back. That's a shame... cuz, I heard some good stories on here.
Anyway.... my name is Dennis. I know, sounds kind of wimpy huh? But, y'all can continue to call me Hobo. I've only been driving for about 6 years but I'm the best truck driver I've ever known! What? You got a problem with confidence? :eek2: I love driving big trucks. I love most everything about trucking. With my driving record, they should never have let me in! But, I'm here now, and you couldn't pry me out of my truck with a 5th wheel puller. I would tell you all my life story.... but, you wouldn't believe me. For all intents and purposes, my life began anew the day I went to CDL school... but wasn't complete until I found a home here at CAD. I think maybe I'll stay. Hobo

That's alright. I just put your phone number on the bathroom stalls all over the country this week. Right next to the "post" by the guy on the back row who's looking for some real "male" excitement! That should make us even.

hey yall.I'm Shelley. I started driving a little over 4 yrs ago with the intent to team drive with my husband. Well, things changed real quick and I ended up pulling a flatbed for another company. At my 3 year mark of driving I quit my job to work on my marriage(which failed misserably but now I'm happy) and now I am out looking to get back in a truck. I have 2 grown children. I enjoyed pulling flatbed and working for the people I used to work for and all my driver friends joke around and tell me I was spoiled while working for them. Unfortunately they dont need a driver at this point. I keep running into brick walls with most compamies out there because of two reasons---- 1) taking time off and 2) I have never bumped a dock and the companies dont like that ( if they only knew of some of the places they want u to back out of with a flatbed!) Anyway, Im looking forward to being on the road again and hopefully it will be soon. Yall stay safe.......
