And while you're digging up speeches by past presidents, it might be worth your while to examine (a) the opposition party's reaction at the time and, more importantly, (b) the planned follow-up by our proud NEA members at the time. As I said before, I don't have a beef with The One™ coming down from Mount Olympus and talking to the kids. I'm sure that it will be rather exciting for some of them.
