Talk to them. Ask them what their plans are with the current economic conditions and as it relates to their drivers; whether they plan to downsize, hire more, or stay where they are at and about their wages. It might sound rather "brassy" but it shows an interest through their prospective and you can let them know yours as well.
It would have made a great story if you would have asked for a raise the same day you cost the bossman money. That takes balls.

http://www.classadrivers.com/forum/a...-bad-week.html OK. Yeah I wasnt focusing well that week either. Every nite I take two trailers to Columbus. Tues nite I took the wrong trailer, mis read the number which is a big no no. Fortunately the trailer I took was going there anyway but the one I left behind was full of due freight that got there late. Wed nite I accidently hooked my trailers backward so the lead trailer got put to the dock and the tail got put in the yard which should've been the other way around. A dock worker stood around for a half hour waiting for his trailer. Then Thurs nite I left my cell in my car. That turned out OK as no one could call me and it was kinda peaceful. I wasnt going to be asking for no favors that week either! ![]() BTW, I posted to your other thread about losing keys. |
