First, I have to fix the right, front tire on the car so my wife can sell it for more money...
And Obama can tax it more and share more wealth...
Everybody's wealth BUT OBAMA'S..... BET ME????
I'll believe him when he opens his own 1.4 million dollar home to the homeless and shares what he has as well.
Untill then, it's just a great big bunch of BS!!!!!
And, the country bought it hook, line, and sinker...:moon::moon::moon:

Dear Fellow Business Owners

As a Business owner who employs 30 people, I have
resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama will be our
next President, and that my Taxes and Fees will go up in a
BIG way.

To compensate for these increases, I figure that the
customer will have to see an increase in my fees to them of
about 8%. I will also have to lay off six of my employees.
This really bothered me as I believe we are family here and
didn't know how to choose who will have to go. So, this
is what I did:

I strolled thru the parking lot and found eight Obama
bumper stickers on my employees cars.
I have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off.

I can't think of more fair way to approach this
problem. If you have a better idea, let me know.
I am sending this letter to all business owners that I
know.

Sincerely
Ward

O' boy. Your asking how much of a tax increase will it really be, after the fact that you already voted for him.

A business that grosses 1,000,000 with a 5% tax increase, comes to about 50k. Yep, that would cover the salary of 3 Obama supporters (maybe 4?).

Look at where the letter comes from. I live in FL, not CA. But, it's not the first one I've heard of, before the election was over, and even before election day. I included contact information so that you could direct your questions to him. Why don't you do that? I got this email under my old email address from back when I was an O/O.

And even the company I'm driving for has let go of 4 drivers because of "LOG VIOLATIONS". I've overheard one comment in the office that they also supported Obama. And, while my wife had been told that it must be 7 years after a DUI, (Primatine mist will give you a DUI up to 4 hours after you use it.) I was given an application to bring home for her to join me as my co-driver after just 3 years. They've already told the insurance company that they ARE GOING TO HIRE HER. They're going to modify their operation because of Obama.

Welcome to the "CHANGE" you voted for. Now, sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Oh, yesss......

I'm also going to be the guy that gives her the "REFRESHER COURSE". Other drivers have been asked to bring in co-drivers as well. First, they're looking for wives to drive, but one guy is going to train his girlfriend from start to finish.

They're going to try putting more drivers in the same equipment and put in more miles to reduce the idle time. Sort of like CRST, where the fuel that would normally be used for idling and keeping warm or cool will be used to move freight.

Thank you, Obama, for arranging for my wife to rejoin me as my co-driver.

I was speaking in general terms, and included you because of the comment after I posted the email I got. It's the sort of thing I was getting from the supporters before the election.

Man, there's absolutely no shortage of people who don't know anything about taxes spouting how little they know.

Taxes are only assessed on profits, that means that any expenses for running the business, employee wages, insurance, rent, R and D, stock, vehicles and related expenses, electricity, etc, etc. aren't taxed. Absolutely everything that is necessary to running your business is not taxed. All the expenses are deducted from the gross to come up with taxable income. So any claim of having to lay off employees or raising your rates is pure BS.

And a tax increase is only on your taxable income above whatever tax bracket. For instance if taxes are raised on taxable income over $250k, then the first $250k won't see a tax increase at all. So if I made $300k taxable a year, then I would only owe increased taxes on $50k of it.
