You know a 5 second google search revealed this....But why should we let facts get in the way of your arguments. Typical crap spewed out with no facts just to justify a position.

In 1963, Lieutenant Powell was wounded by a punji-stick booby trap while patrolling the Vietnamese border with Laos. He was awarded the Purple Heart, and later that year, the Bronze Star. Powell served a second tour of duty in Vietnam in 1968-69. During this second tour he was injured in a helicopter crash. Despite his own injuries, he managed to rescue his comrades from the burning helicopter and was awarded the Soldier's Medal. In all, he has received 11 military decorations, including the Legion of Merit.

Yeah, because so few career military men are Republicans, and good democrats love to be members of the most extreme right wing nut job administrations this country has ever known.

Everything he espouses is anti-American. This country is about freedom. Free thought is something his party is fighting to suppress with thier so called "Fairness Doctrine."
Yeap, run for president if you are anti-American. Likely plan.

I will not justify this nonsense with a response. You know what I was talking about. Wait, I guess I did justify it...

I might be outnumbered on this board but thankfully I am not outnumbered in the United States of America.

Here's another saying. "It ain't over until the fat lady sings."

While I feel (or did yesterday) that Obama is going to win, I'm rethinking my position today. It's far from in the bag for Obama and to think it is, is the height of ignorance.

As far as a civil war goes? Tell you what, KW. If Obama wins and begins instituting his socialism agenda, and that's what it is regardless of how you or him or the other Obama Kool-aid drinkers spin it, a civil war is exactly what is going to happen to this country.

There are far too many people in this country that simply will not stand for losing the things that Obama intends to take from them: their religion, their freedom of speech, their guns, their money, and their freedoms granted under the Constitution. Of of those people that won't stand for it, I'd guess that probably all of them are armed. In other words, there's no way a civil war will NOT happen.

Now, you can go on and on about how it's all a bunch of hooey and that's your right. But I've listened to the candidates (I ignore the spin doctors on radio and TV) and I've watched them debate and interact. I've done a whole hell of a lot of reading on everyone involved and what they stand for, especially from their own websites. I'm very well versed in what each candidate is about and I don't wear the rose-colored glasses that you and everyone else that thinks Obama walks on water, wears.

So think what you will about the election. If you think it's in the bag, stay home. I'm willing to bet you won't because while you won't admit it on the board, I know you can't look in the mirror and say "I am going to stay home because Obama has already won."

If McCain wins, I'm guessing he can at least steer the ship away from the whirlpool. If Obama wins, this country is going straight into it and nothing short of an awakening spirit of America will save us.

That's your civil war.

And that's your reality.

While I had not thought of it in that respect, I do know quite a number of people that have been stocking up on guns and ammo over the last year. I also remember a few of the wives saying they did not want a gun in the house, and now those same wives are going down to the shooting range and practicing. The crime rate in the area has not gone up. I didn't understand their need for all the weapons. I've even been asked if I knew where they might be able to get grenades.

I'm sure it was just a figure of speach for him, and it never even crossed my mind until now. I'm still thinking... They wouldn't do that.. Would they? But, I've also been told that they have enough to supply me too.

If either of the 2 top candidates wins, We the People lose.
We are already in a civil war, and have been for several years. It is also a shooting war: citizens shooting other citizens. This should not be confused with normal criminal activity.

The only way We the People can win this election, and recover from all the damage done, is to flush all incumbents and elect the unknowns.

There seems to be an agenda that is bigger than the 2 major political parties. I don't know what it is, but the evidence is visible in daily life.

That agenda is unfolding from a master plan, and its implementation has really picked up a full head of steam, since 9/11.

Now that I re-read what I just wrote, it is looking more and more like a spiritual war. I'm not a good example of a Christian, for non-believers, but there it is.

This looks a lot like what the Bible teaches, for the end days.

I'm not sure about the whole "Civil war" thing, but if Obama doesn't win, expect riots. It will happen. It may even happen if he does win.

If Obama doesn't win there will be those who will claim that he lost because of racism. It was because he was black that he didn't win.

Obama has done a lot to energize the democrats. He is even bringing back the dead to vote.

I see racism in his own personallity as well. He claims to be black, but his mother is white. Why hasn't he claimed to have the best of BOTH worlds. Under the circumstances, claiming to be black suggests he's "looking down on his own white half". That does not speak well for him either.

I think both Osama and Michelle Obama are racists based upon statements that I have heard them say since he has been running for the presidency. He has turned his back on his white ancestry. It is odd that he would leave to be a this white grandmothers side when he has made statements that she was a racist. I have read articles written by well educated blacks who don't think that Obama will be good for the country or the black community. Not everything is about race. I don't think race has anything to do with whether he or anyone else is qualified to be president. Character and experience matter more than race when it comes to running or holding office. In listening to the news this morning it sounds like he is running against Sarah Palin rather than John McCain. I think someone needs to explain to Obama that he is running against McCain rather than Palin. Certainly, Biden isn't being held up to the same scrutiny as Palin. His experience or qualifications to be president aren't being questioned. I don't think anyone is really qualified to be president the day they take office. They must grow into the position. I would much prefer someone with business experience to lead the largest corporation in the world than a lawyer who has never held a real job in his life. I would much rather have the chief executive of a state as president than a lawyer who has never held a real job. Obama and Biden seem to be afraid to run against McCain. Instead they attack Palin. I admit that they have been successful with many people. I have spoken to many who think Palin is inexperienced and not qualified to become president. Yet, experience doesn't seem to matter when it comes to Obama or Biden. I am not sure where their logic comes in to think that Obama and Biden are qualified. They have no idea how to run a business, meet a payroll or pay taxes. Both these democrats want to disarm this country and increase our taxes. Democrats fear an armed America. I am amazed at how they can misinterpret the constitution to fit their personal agenda. I think they fear Palin's ability to connect with the average American. She is a straight shooter who doesn't beat around the bush. They don't know any other way to deal with her but to attack.
