It's so obvious that he is back on something. He is acting the same as he did a couple of months ago. TK! I think that we were right about the before the New Year prediction.

Regarding Howard's new wife Beth. She is undoubtedly pretty. I just don't think that she compares at all to the supermodels. If we are talking on that high of a scale. I wouldn't give her more than a 3 or a 4. I just about fell out of the chair when I found out that Sal had been calling her "horse face" during his act. That is exactly what I have always thought that she looked like and thought that it was just me.

Has anyone signed up for the XM on Sirius or the Sirius on XM packages?

ETM/ETA rules!
I agree about Beth. She does compliment Howard well though, he's tall, she's tall, etc. You mention that in Sals act reminds me when he fell off the stage doing the Bababooey dance, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nh6JdX5EjYk . Have you seen the DIY network Mancaves with Artie and the one with Gary ? The Artie one is pretty funny, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xGcUv6HH8c . Here's the Gary one, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l84d8ugQaHg . It's interesting to see their houses.

I have XM free for a few months in my new truck but so far I don't like the way the channels are programmed compared to Sirius. I haven't really had much time to explore XM so I'll give it a chance and if I don't like it I'll convert it to Sirius.

What are they doing with Baseball for next season?

As far as Artie goes, he has to be doing something. Playing cards all night, hookers in a limo. He is doing everything to get him back into that old lifestyle. Pretty soon he will be missing work and falling asleep again. I liked him for the first few years but now his comedy is old and tired. He seemed like a working class blue collar guy. Now it's all about the $$$$$ for him.

I tell ya guys, I'm seriously considering signing up for the Best of XM package and giving O&A another listen. I had XM for while in a company truck and was starting to enjoy O&A.

It is probably just me, but the Stern show seems to be slipping. Has been for a while, and really seems to be bottoming out.

A few things that I don't think that I can handle anymore:

1. First and foremost........the cackling witch. She has always been a point of irritation with me, but unfortunately she keeps talking more and more these days. I find myself turning down the radio or switching channels when I hear that awful voice. Apparently I am not the only one, the other day, Howard finally told her to stop talking so much. I would rather run my nails down a chalk board!

2. The horse face bride. She has a hot bod for sure. But does indeed look more like Mr. Ed than a model. Junkie Artie and the cackling witch go on and on and on about how gorgeous she is. She ain't all that! Out of my league for sure, but not even close to a supermodel. If I have to hear about the North Shore Animal League one more time, my cat Blacky may be in serious trouble. LOL Enough already about the horse face tranny!

3. Artie the Junkie, and Howard ass-kisser-apologist extraordinaire. Not funny anymore. Sell out!

4. Jason Kaplan: Is the definition of a douche bag. I just can't listen to that lisp anymore.............I just can't do it.

Sirius stock is trading at 28 cents today. Thank god that I sold off my 200 shares a few months back. There are rumors of a possible bankruptcy at Sirius/XM. I will admit that countryhorseman's comments a while back about Mel Karmazin seem to have merit now. I just don't think that Sirius/XM is going to be able to get that $500,000,000 (Stern contract) monkey off of their back successfully. Ironically, Stern's contract, touted at the time as the catalyst to save satellite radio, may well be it's undoing.

Ben45750, can I borrow your XM unit?

Thanks.................I feel better now.

Update: I just got off the phone with Sirius. I have a couple of the older model XACT-XTR 7s that I think are great and they also have the high power FM transmitters. Guess what? Not compatible to receive the Best Of XM package!! Who'd a thought? Screw 'em...........

I don't even have one anymore. I have a subscription with Audible and XM online but half the time it's screwed up but there are several places to find the show for free. Most to the torrents are commercial free, and out by 1pm.

Every once and a while I will download Hoo Hoo's show but can never make it through the whole thing. Used to listen and used to like him but yeah, his show has gone way down hill.
