They are evacuating New Orleans right now as I type this. Evacuation is voluntary at this point, however they are saying this hurricane Gustav is a category 3 with a strong possibility of becoming a 4. It is supposed to hit landfall Tuesday morning. If you are in the area on Tuesday, I wish you the best!

Your actually in a pretty decent spot! As bad as Katrina was...Baton Roughe didn't hardly see anything. Some bands from Rita went through there hard...but little damage in that.
