so I'm heading home for the weekend ...but it'll give me a chance to do some more grocery shopping.
...and a chance to attack some of that "honey do" list that I'm sure grows like a weed while you are gone

Since I have nobody calling me "honey" anymore, not really. I'll mow the lawn and work on the generator's exhaust system. That's about it.

If you could figure out a way to power some mower blades off the generator you could mow the lawn with the truck in just a few seconds............... and you'd be like some kind of mowing king or something. Competitions, mowing shows, autograph signings, probably movies as well. Sky's the limit really.

Sounds like a plan. I'll have it finished by Monday*. 8)

*by "finished", I mean I will have burned the truck, the lawn, and likely the house down....

Hey REV,
You owe me some money. After reading YOUR thread about cooking steak, I ran up the street and bought a few. Now the wife expects me to cook them tonight.

We all have to start somewhere, the Wright Brothers didn't build a 747 right out of the barn either. I'm sure they had a few fires as well. Good luck and Godspeed.
Remember..........save the old albums and cd's first, everything else can burn. We gotta have music during the rebuild.
