As far as the first question, I don't know if I would have called or not, it's hard to answer without actually having been there. However, littering is big on my pet peeve list no matter what it is. I understand food is biodegradable (although I agree with Rev that McD's isn't, here's proof) but why didn't the driver get out of the truck and throw it in grass? Laziness pure laziness, and I can't stand laziness.

Maybe the fries ended up in the same guys tire grooves putting him over on his drives and he got fined at the next scale...............now THAT'S carma! :lol:

I'm going to venture a guess that you don't just wantonly toss food on the floor of your house - feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here.
I may also be so bold as to assume that it has something to do with insects and rodents - again, feel free to correct if I am in error.

Now, I understand that parking lots are open air, but still, aren't they public places, where a fair number of people can be expected to be in the area?
So wouldn't it make sense that it might not be desirable to have rats and other scavengers there, as well?

 

Actually, no - they are private property. Someone else's private property, where they are allowing you to park your truck for the night. Thanking them by throwing your shit all over their parking lot is just rude, disgusting, and lazy - especially when they have provided trash cans for you to dispose of your waste.

 

Excuse me.. places open to the public, I should say.

 

I left out "rude" and "disgusting" in my post above, but I agree completely. That type of attitude goes well beyond littering, it's the way they go through life. I can't stand those f**kers.

 

With the mindset of "it's only a little bit of food", it's no wonder that so many Wal Marts don't allow trucks to park there anymore.

Bottom line: There is no reason to throw your food on the ground instead of a trash can. EVER. NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER.
