Yeah I found a place to park, after driving around the lot for 15 minutes. It's one of those places I don't usually stop because of customer locations and such. I usually stop up at exit 77.
Today was a long ass day. I swapped out near Columbus,OH and tonight I'm at Jim's truck stop in Buffalo, NY and will deliver in the morning then go home, but not until after I stop at the TA and get some tires repaired. I notice a soft drive tire and found a bolt in the tire. I threw some air in it and was going to plug it when I got home. But now I found a trailer tire with the bead broke. It was fine when I swapped out so I don't know what the deal is. I'll just get both tires fixed on my way home tomorrow. I'm going to end up getting home a day late but will actually end up with 1000 more miles than the way I was originally set up to get home. I can deal with that. 8) 8)
that place next to the kmart that's got an mty parking lot and still won't let trucks park in it. lol
That's the place. Kmart used to pay a security guard to sit there all day long and kick out any trucks that were on the wrong side of the blue line. I stopped there all the time when I was local. I usually drove a tractor trailer but I had a pick up with a 25ft goose neck one day and I grabbed a couple hot dogs and stopped over by the Kmart to eat and the rent a cop came over right away and started bitching at me about it. He wouldn't stop rambling so I told him to get bent and I rolled the window back up and finished my hot dogs in front of him. 8) 8)
Spent a wonderfull evening on the side of the road,a mile from the Winoc Gate here in Modesto. For my 4am drop this am(one down two to go) They don't allow overnight parking.

Change sides over to the TA WEST and park in the last row nearest the rodeway inn hotel.
I don't like to park there, but my dispatch told me at the last minute that i couldn't pick up in Pomona untill Friday.
I was coming from Yuma I would have rather stoped at one of the casinos on 86.
Only had a couple people at my door it was pretty quiet, maybe next time more excitement

108 in nm, not sure since it's been forever since I've been out west but is that sky city? I'm not big on the casino but I remember they had like a bazillion parking spots and they had a very good returaunt
