Ohhh..Yeah. Happened to me several years ago. Downtown Boston. Wasnt supposed to be downtown. Took a bad turn. Try to "box" yourself back to the correct road. But the "box" doesnt look anything like a box, then you get that sick feeling in your gut that you are screwed. Found a beat cop. Stopped in the middle of the road. He came over. I asked "how do I get back to I-93. (or any road that starts with an I. wasnt picky at that point)

Tonight...Scranton/Dupont, Pa Petro...34hr reset. Dont think Ill be hangin' out here all day tomorrow, though. Driving on personnel time.

I'm at the Pilot in Phoenix,AZ. I'm glad to see more and more Pilot's are installing the automated shower assignment system ( like TA has ) so you don't have to screw around waiting in line to get a waiting card or a key. Due to fuel prices and such we are fueling almost exclusively at Pilot's with some Love's scattered in and a TA or Petro here and there. I used to usually fuel and shower at TA's because most of the time you can stroll in there and get a shower right away.

The Andrew Dice Clay show at the Route 66 Casino last night was alright. I was hoping for a little more but it was entertaining nonetheless. 8) 8)

Man...I feel for you drivers whos companies fuel almost exclusively at Pilots and their "sister" Loves. They should be ashamed to call themselves Truckstops.
We have alot of Pilot/Loves as fuel stops as well. But....I believe our vast majority are T/A's Petros and "Js". Only time I stop at a Pilot for fuel is if there is nothing else within reach. Souix Falls SD, Is about the only one I have used, and very very infrequently. Ill fill up in Albert Lea TA first, before heading into SD to avoid the Pilot.
Glad to see the Pilot at least went to automated shower assignments. I never liked going up to the cashier to get my assignment either. Now Petro needs to do the same, and the big 4 will all be automated.

At my customer Manitowac, Wi.....
(Rev....If you drive by give a blow on the horn. Im not far of the big road. Ill be up in your "Neck of the woods" tomorrow)

I'm at the Petro in Grants,NM. I was going to stop at the Route 66 Casino again to look for the money I lost but didn't want to risk loosing more. I ended up with a load going right back to Wisconsin, virtually the same area I came down from, so I will be running the same route back until Dubuque. 8) 8)

I'm in Sumner, WA for a 34hr break... I've been looking forward to a reset for the past two weeks. I'm tired of running off of picked up hours...

I'm at the TA in Lebo,KS. Just east of Hutchinson I ran into really super heavy rain and wind for a few miles. I wondered if there was a tornado around. I couldn't see a damn thing. 8) 8)
