Can you believe it, I got up at 0500, at the Girard Oh Petro, grabbed my shower bag...carefully....walked the ice skating rink got to the door, and the %$#@&^ place was CLOSED. :twisted: :twisted: Never have I seen a so called Truckstop closed. Nobody came in for the night shift. Hand written sign posted on the LOCKED doors, "Sorry, we are closed". I was Pizz't. :twisted:

That's crazy. I wonder how many people got fired over that :shock:

 

Not sure the name of the town. Pilot on I-20, exit 6 in GA.

 

I'm in Ashtabula,OH....again. In almost the same parking spot I was the other night. I ran through the house on my way up to Watertown yesterday and ran back through again after picking up another load. It worked out good, I was able to take my mother out for Valentines dinner. It's just a day early though. 8) 8)

Actually it wasn't bad at all. I even took 104 to 104b to Pulaski to avoid the tolls. You don't want to go that way if you want to avoid snow. The weathermen are rather terrible at predicting the weather lately. I spent the night in Watertown and they were calling for 5-8 inches of snow. When I woke up to deliver there was barely 2 inches and it was 32 degrees and raining. I'm headed for Chicago tomorrow for an evening delivery. 8) 8)

 

Taking a few days off in Spartanburg SC, glad to get a break from the cold up north.
