I've played both EQ and EQ2. Lasted for a month in EQ...a week in EQ2. EQ2 was so bad that I never even finished my 14 day free trial. :shock:

However, I still play WoW...and that's been out for what...3 years now? That says something.



A friend of mine from Canada that plays...he has a 67 year old father that plays, too.

You want to hear a funny WoW story? Year or so back, I logged on one of my alliance players in Goldshire and there were some toons getting ready to have a wedding between a couple of players (a married couple that played). Silverhand is a hardcore RPing server, or used to be anyway, so they were doing it all up.

Using my alliance toon, I started a rumor that Horde assassins were in the area and then logged on my rogue and made the trip. With my son on our 2nd PC on his account, giving me a play by play of what they were saying, I got the bride, unarmed and in a wedding dress, right in the middle of her vows. In the ensuing violence, I took out a couple of guests, the groom, the bride a second time, the bar tender in the Inn, then the bride a third time before a bunch of top-tier Paladins put an end to my fun. I always played that if they got me, they got me and I was finished for the night.

So I unflagged, built a campfire just outside the town (guards, ya know), and then had a couple of drinks with the happy couple. Good, solid fun.

 

 

They probably both play night elf females.

 

Wow, I can't believe someone on hear remembers Muds, I could never get into but I lost like 3 friends to it, then EQ1 came out and I never saw them again...

 

I myself am not big into WoW give me Battlefield 2142 anyday or if someone would come out with a new PC verzion of it Mechwarrior. In Mechwarrior 4 Mecrenaies I had a 100 ton assualt class mech called a Paladain that with one hit from its 4 Light Guasses could dang near take out anything from around 1000 meters if you had to go to lasers you had 4 Larger ER pulses and could take would do enough damage to stop things in their tracks also.
