I got my first ticket........I have four hours to go the 86 miles to my destination and thought just go ahead and get there.....lovely over hours fine of 150.00, my company paid a whole 7.50 of that..............knowing my luck, this load will end up arriving late, costing another 200.00 penalty, guess I'll follow those rules better next time

I don't know. All I know is that I have money in the bank, so I must be making a profit. I bought my first truck for cash, but had to take a loan out for my second truck. I guess I'm gonna have to haul some extra loads of that $0.59 per mile broker freight.

Oh, I'm at 15520 miles in 16 days. 970 miles a day.
Driver Odometer: 13,411 Miles Logged
Tons Hauled: 140 Tons

That's 15 days.

You have completed your route to Veracruz on time. You collected $6,623.23 of which Canadian Freightways collected $596.09 from that total to leave you with a total collection of $6,027.14. Your driver rating is now 1.29.

Time to sell my truck again.

Signed up at TRUKZ with South East Express (SEE) after running 3 loads as an independent. Im finished with my 5th load and resting in El Paso. A dispatcher offered me my last laod and it paid pretty well. Anyone else using a dispatcher to get better paying loads? My ole FL FLB ( Cabover)will only do 47mph. Make sure to wave as you all fly by in them shiney new trucks.....

No we don't use dispatchers at CF,we just try to go where the contract loads are,you really need to upgrade your truck, you can take out $1,000 a day loan and if you get to a compnay terminal you will get a discount on the purchase, shouldn't be that much by time you sell your old truck, maybe need $1,500-2,000.

Also try this site it gives you an idea where the best paying loads are.

I'm with South East, too. I was down in Mexico after finishing up a 3800 mile $2.40ish load for something like $8K net. Got an e-mail from someone, I assume someone else with S E E, telling me to take a short load up to Mex city or something, pick up a good paying livestock load (I think) and take it to San Fran, then there would be a good load out of there to Texas. Sure enough, it was there and got me to a company contract load. I'm guessing then, that was a dispatcher?
