3 pages and still no Rabbit. Enjoying his weekend, I suppose. :lol:
Maybe, I should've named this thread - Trukz. :lol:
If you're not on a contract run, here's what I'm doing:
Glass 1.41/mi from Jacksonville to Charlotte 409 miles (plus the bonus if your company has a terminal there - SEE does. :P )
Milk .49/mi back down to Jacksonville.
A decent short run for making money, plus we have terminals at both ends. No FP's for fueling or repairing. 8)
Currently, I'm sitting 9 miles from Jacksonville on 11 FP's. :evil:

Driving this route of Tires from Corpus Christi to Anchorage will earn your driver $2.45 per mile, a total of $9772.20 for the entire route. Your company specializes in this cargo type so you will receive a 5% bonus for delivery.3,981 miles max mph 48.....ouch,but when I finish this one and get to a terminal city I can nicley upgrade my truck!

I'm trying to stay close to jacksonville, because my company is trying hard to get a contract.
For the $2000 link money, I just went to Trukz home webpage and copied the address to my sig line. :wink:
Glass, to Charlotte is $1.13/mi. My mistake. ops:
At least my truck goes 60. :P
RostyC: What is your Driver Name?

mike3fan, I see your gameplay style is set at standard. I doubt at 48mph, you're going to be on time with that load. :P
You should edit your driver and change that to Casual. :wink:
I also see you're running over HOS. Shame, shame. :P :lol:

Here are the calculations behind route pay per mile:
Collection = Cargo base pay per mile * Route Distance
Collection = Collection + (Route Distance * 1.5%)
Collection = Collection + (Cargo Weight / 40000)
Collection = Collection + (Collection * Terminal Bonus) {see note1}
If destination city demands cargo type:
Collection = Collection + (Collection * 10%)
If cargo type is company preferred cargo type:
Collection = Collection + (Collection * 5%)
Collection = Collection + Cargo Bonus {based on cargo demand}
Collection = Collection + City Bonus {based on city climate}
If driver gameplay is casual:
Collection = Collection * .80
|
Thats why I didn't want to change to casual

That makes sense, but can you be on time @ 48mph? I heard that the longer the load, the harder it is to be on time, if you're driving one of the cabovers. Especially, if you have a mechanical failure or something. That's also the reason I do short runs, until I get a better(faster) truck.
