I talked to my insurance company today regarding my short-term disability pay. The doctor sent in his paperwork and, holy crap, he put down that I'd be off a MINIMUM of SIX weeks. I'll lose my damn mind by then...

At least I'll be getting paid - 60% of my average gross pay, but at least I'll have some sort of income.

Now - WTF to do for 5 1/2 more weeks. I've only been off work since last Tuesday evening and I'm already bored out of my mind...

I've been playing Trukz pretty much non-stop. I've also installed about 10 games on the computer as well. Even that gets boring pretty quick.

I wish I could handle walking/standing more - I'm sure I could find small projects to do around the house. I tried lighting a stove this morning and when I bent down I thought my knee was going to explode. So, more of doing nothing for a bit I guess.

Finally - 30 days was enough.

I'm heading back to work this evening. Starting out with a fairly simple round-trip haul: Fairmont, WV to Parkersburg, WV to Huntington, WV to Danville, KY then back to Fairmont.

I honestly didn't know that I could miss my truck this much - LOL
