Called I have Epilepsy and ac ouple times I have dislocated my shoulder after getting my arm caught in something during a seizure. That caused the ligament and tendon damage the bone break was from falling on my right side six months ago and landed wrong. Vicadin and Ultram right now are my 2 best friends.

Ha Ha! That's funny.... I THINK! Truth is.... I can't "DO" Youtube! So, I have NO IDEA what you're talking about!

My post was ACTUALLY based on my memory of the Knight in the movie "the Holy Grail."

Kind of reminds me of DUBYA with his subzero poll ratings! But, that's another subject!

I certainly meant no harm by my post! I was just having a bit of fun!

Well - had the surgery this morning. Had no problems (that I know of). Not having any pain (yet) but gawd - my stomach is a wreck. Anethesia, I guess. I can walk somewhat easily - doctor said I can put full pressure on the knee. Hopefully by tomorrow my stomach will be doing better. Then, when the hospital pain drugs wear off I can take my own meds. Not about to attempt that yet.

Malaki wish you luck in your recovery I start rehab tomorrow FUN FUN FUN. Yeah right I would rather go into Hunts Point with a floor load of onions then get sent into Harlem for a reload then face the PT techs. Those people are Sadists they enjoy inflicting pain way to much I SWEAR SOMETIMES.

Malakai: Even tho I am some kind of 'scum' in your opinion, I'm sorry to hear about your "Monday." You didn't say if it was your gas pedal knee or your clutch knee. Either way, be sure to do the PT exercises! As I'm sure you know, driving a truck requires hours of tension in only ONE SPOT. This can be very damaging to even a healthy knee! Be sure to get out and get some exercise whenever you can, and use the cruise control to "spell" your knee from the constant strain.

I wish you a speedy recovery, and a long career!

See - I knew you wasn't pure pond scum

The surgery was to my right knee. So far I've went through the extreme nausea of the meds they used to knock me out for the surgery, the initial onset of the real pain in my knee, and now am up to a constant pain plus extreme stiffness.

The doc won't put me into PT until after I see him on the 13th. So, it looks like I'll have to work local for awhile, at the very minimum. Of course, that soley depends on how my knee is in a couple of weeks.

One of the worst things I'm dealing with now is the boredom. Going from a job where if I sit in one place for more than an hour or 2 (unless sleeping) to sitting in the same place for DAYS is driving me nuts. The wife and I are heading to Wal-Mart today and I'm actually looking forward to it.

Again, I appreciate the comments.

WELL... then.... You're not as DUMB as "I" thought, either!

Just kidding! It's OKAY to disagree amongst ourselves! And a certain amount of "dissing" is expected! I wasn't really offended!

This is the time to "step up to the plate!" You know how athletes deal with this all the time! I hope you might find a good book by one of them, or at least an article. They have to recover quickly from this injury to SAVE their careers! So must YOU! They work HARD at it, hours a day.... and so must YOU! It is not enough JUST to exercise the muscles around the knee, you must exercise the LIGAMENTS. I TRULY wish you a speedy recovery!

THAT will be up to YOU!

Well, at least you should feel at HOME at the Walmart!

Here's a hint.... the wife will feel sympathetic.... this is a GOOD time to get all those goodies you've been wanting!

Again, I appreciate the comments.

Somehow, I thought you would! One last one.... get some ankle weights and wear them around ALL DAY. Every little motion of your lower leg, will increase the strenth in your knee. ESPECIALLY that one of kicking me in the arse!
