Well, if you're talking about MY part of it.... I apologize! I was BORED, as most of the topics I've posted on seemed to end with MY post! This just happens to be one of my biggest pet peeves! I didn't mean to take it all out of Fozzy. He just posted the thoughts that bothered me. I NEVER mean any of my posts to be PERSONAL attacks! I just respond to the words I read. The names (to protect the innocent) are immaterial!

I have great job pulling a tanker hauling hazmat, a job that you could NEVER qualify for, the boss would take 5 minutes to talk to you and realize that you would be a bad representative for his company.
Then you boss is also an idiot. I've pulled everything from Propane to Formaldehyde to caustics, now I pull a tanker with non hazmat, running 84,000- 90,000 again, you're still not impressing me... hard to believe, but if true congratulations. I hope you a had different attitude in the military Which attitude would this be? I was going the speed limit and he pulled right out in front of me and stopped. I am sure you could have avoided the situation given your superior intellect. You wanted to post a comparison there Skippy, you blew it! Now try and convince me that this was a non-preventable. I have numerous safety awards and even 2 courtesy awards given by a company that rewarded its drivers for compliments that were called in. ditto.. so? I doubt it, youdotn get courtesy awards by being an A-hole Then how pray tell did you supposedly get any? I also have never been threatened or have I threatened any one on the cb, Do you want a cookie for this? It's not the topic. you must be guilty of this one Read the first reply, I do not even turn on a CB 99% of the time. And arguing with some BBR would prove what? I gave up on these dimwits years ago. I dont park at the fuel pump unless I am getting fuel. I guess you are guilty again Again, no points for doing something that you are supposed to do. I dont create my own parking spot at truckstops. And? guilty again huh? Of what? I work twelve hour shifts and go home, I do usually give my "free showers" away to the OTR boys who need them, I have no use for them anymore. I yield for drivers who want to go faster ( cars and trucks) In normal situations and in normal traffic I think everyone including myself stays over to the right and allows the faster traffic to go by. HOWEVER, that's not always possible! There are times where it is safer to get over to the left and allow a potential dangerous situation to un screw itself. If this happens and I need to get over to protect THEM, then that's exactly what I am going to do. If this makes BBR wet his depends and get upset, then screw him! but you said earlier that you dont move for anyone, so lets just forget the whole thing , you are a discourteous unprofessional steering wheel holder and are not likely to change, so I will try my best to avoid you, and if I see you trying to merge, I will give you all the room you need, even though you would not do the same for me. Really? please quote me where I posted that. And as for room, I'll only watch out for you during the left turns when you are about to run me over.

Ummm.... Freedog: I don't mean to offend, but your post is incomprehensible! I've had to hire TWO translators/ BBcode analysts, and I'm STILL not sure who said what!
If you could, please, in the future, either highlight YOUR responses in bold (even when out of sequence) or use a color! the Rev will HATE it, but I will be able to follow it! I'm just a dumb BBR, bedwetting trucker... don't ya know???

Please, golfhobo, tell me how this is my (or any other driver's) problem.
If waiting on traffic causes you to get "steamed", as you put it, than perhaps it's time to find another profession where dealing with traffic is part of the job description.
Aggression will get you nowhere in this business. It is because of aggressive drivers that there are so many regulations being dumped upon the industry.
I'm sure YOU (if no one else) will "get it."
Take a deep breath, count to 10, and relax.
Of course, you can always use that adverse driving exemption to get home........ I don't get "steamed" over the normal actions of truckers who are just trying to do their job. Because, I UNDERSTAND that. It's the actions of a FEW, that are UNEXPLAINABLE and INCONSISTENT with ALL I know about "sharing the road" that steam me. I will NEVER understand a "so-called" professional driver that passes me and cuts over with only a few feet to spare, when there are miles of open road ahead of us, and no one behind him! This puts ME in the "illegal" position of "following too closely." That's a MAJOR violation, and you know it only takes TWO to make me sit at home for 2 months! And, I will NEVER understand the idiot who sniffs tailgate of another truck until he sees that I'm about to blow by him in 3 seconds.... and chooses THAT moment to pass the guy in front of him that he hasn't even got the speed to pass! Is that so much to ask, REV?? That you yield the road to a faster truck, and wait until you are a safe distance beyond me to take away MY "right of way?" I can deal with EVERYTHING else!! I am constantly judging the speed of every vehicle behind, and in front, of me! I play no favorites between 4wheeler and trucker. I "lift" when I need to, and "go" when I need to, to keep the flow of traffic going at a safe and constant speed. I see events well before they happen, and usually before the trucker or 4wheeler "on his phone" does! I plan for it. I "manage" it! I stay "focused." But, I WANT to do the speed limit, if I can! Am I doing something so wrong, Rev?? (any answer besides "no" will NOT be tolerated! ) I don't get 55 cpm to drive 55 mph.... and wouldn't take it if I could! I'm doing NOTHING illegal (well maybe 5 over SOMETIMES, but that is acceptable to all the cops who have passed me!) "I" am not the danger on the road! Now, tell me Rev, with all your years of experience...who is safer? ME? Or the many trucks I see nose to tail (less than 20 feet separation) who can't SEE the road ahead of them, and are so complacent in their "elephant train" that they can talk on the cellphone, read a map, or check out their laptops while doing so? Be honest!
