Ben, forget for a moment that in one post you say it's a SMALL board, and in the next you say it is huge.... which it is!

( I went there, couldn't begin to GUESS where the quoted thread was located.) And YES, I was offended. I'm not against free speech, but I didn't care much for the hanging negro picture!

Anyway.... my POINT was that you said "here's the link," and then gave a CAD thread link! I THINK you meant to give a WACKBAG link to the thread in which THIS forum and THESE two guys were being talked about. I wanted to go and read THAT.

Like the Rev, I don't want to have to sift through that gutter trash to see what they are saying about our guys!

I'm not making any judgement about YOU. I don't have a problem with you. I, personally, can't even work up a spit about O&A, but I wanted to see what was being said about the Rev and Fozzy.

Such wasn't the case last month, or the month before, or the month before that, or the month before that.

And, for comparison, SFN numbers
Here we go, lets turn this into a O&A vs. Stern....... who cares what Sterns site is doing? I don't care. does anyone else care?

I've never watched or listened to Stern for more than the time it takes to realize who on the channel. He's another lowlife, with a band of low life toadies who could not find work anywhere else..

Apparently a lot of people on that website of yours do. After all, they immediately started in about Stern as soon as someone mentioned this thread.

But more important than Sterns numbers, are the LACK of numbers for O&A, and the joke of a fansite that the numbers link to.

Rev likes posting 100% accurate facts but behind a laptop he's a Liar. So why argue facts Rev?

Apparently sarcasm is lost on you. And, judging by your taste in radio programs, so is humor, quality, and taste.

NOPE!! I think Stern AND OnA are worthless!! I certainly didn't choose my SAT radio based on either. I wanted NFL, so I HAD to go with Sirius. Nascar was a bonus.

If XM had had NFL..... I'd have gone with THEM. Simple.

For what it's worth, I don't think "shock jocks" should be fired from PAY radio for doing what they were HIRED to do! I just wish there wasn't a demand for EITHER..... just like the American demand for illegal drugs!

When MSNBC first came on the air (T.V.) I watched them almost exclusively. When I awoke one morning to find them airing a RADIO show (Imus) I changed the channel.... and haven't been back since! (except for Keith Olberman's show in the evenings.)

However, I DO find the current rash of PC firings to be alarming. Under the current "ChristoNazi" administration, I am constantly on guard against ANY violation of our Constitutional rights.

Censorship is bad enough. But, FIRING someone is taking it a bit too far. If a person can get FIRED for saying something stupid or immoral, then let's start with the guy who said, "Mission Accomplished" and "Wanted, Dead or Alive!"

At LEAST Imus apologized for HIS stupid remarks!

I couldn't agree more.

While I agree in premise, I still contend that they were not fired for "doing what they were hired to do". I contend they were fired because of a lack of audience (as evidenced by the paltry 40,000 claimed subscriber losses), and a lack of an interesting radio program. This episode merely gave XM an excuse to do it.

At LEAST Imus apologized for HIS stupid remarks!
Imus apologized because he had to.

After doing some digging, while I find the bit that got them suspended deplorable, disgusting, and just plain wrong, I found this bit quite humorous.
