You probably got your information from Stern right? Stern said on his show that O&A had a 0.0 in Las Vegas. WRONG!!! another lie from Stern.

Adults 12+ 1.7 -> 2.3
Adults 18-34 2.3 -> 3.7
Men 18+ 2.2 -> 2.5
Actually Howard said that he didnt believe that they got a 0.0 he pointed out that it would be impossible. I guess the rating was pretty low though because they are being fired from a lot of markets.I think they should have just stuck to satellite, I'm sure there are loyal listeners who would subscribe to hear them

opie and anthony may be gone. Seems they screwed up again yesterday. Their little bit with the homeless guy saying he wanted to rape condi rice ( which I thought was pretty funny and I like Condi Rice ) has pissed off thr wrong people including the people who pay them. Seems things like this are going to make the merger really hard. Im predicting XM will fire O & A with a slim hope of getting the merger to go through.

Oh Boy......... this is getting bad. News threads coming in like crazy about O&A. You can sure bet CBS will fire them (which is not surprising), was only a matter of time.

If XM fires them I will cancel my 2 subscriptions and never listen to satellite again. Hello IPOD and podcasts.

If it happens, I guess we'll find out how much influence they really have........or don't have. :wink:

Looks like they might have dodged the bullet, they apologized this morning (which they said a shock jock should never do when the Imus thing happened) and CBS and XM have said they will not be fired.

No - they said that his initial apology should've been sufficient. They never said he shouldn't have apologized, just not over and over again. Besides, it looks like giving an apology is wasted time.

I hope they're not fired from XM. I'd cancel my subscription to XM if that happened and switch to Sirius as a protest, but I've got too much money tied up in my radio, fm modulator and truck antenna....

We lose...

Again
