Good Grief! I have always heard that tugs will roll in a heartbeat, but I had never actually seen pictures. The navy used to have their own tugs, but it seems to me that I heard they were phased out and replaced with civilians.

One cautionary note: I served in the Merchant Navy and witnessed some appalling injuries to guys caused by wires parting. Be safe and enjoy it!

Just to let you all know i will be givin my 2 weeks monday i will start on tugs on the 18th. Will work a 7day on 7 day off. If anyone would like i can take pictures and post them on here.

Congrats! Swabby! What exactly is meant by 7 on? Do you spend 24/7 on the tug? Or do you get to go home at night (or day?)
