when I was driving my biggest pet peeve was using the highbeams to let others know your clear.

As what some said 7 minutes in the fuel pumps. I had one driver calling the fuel desk as I walked in the door on me, and it was not 7 minutes. He was saying I was their for 30 minutes, but I just fueled , pulled up and walked in the door of the T/S to get my receipt and a drink. The Cashier got on his case right away. When I walked back out he started to grip to me, I laughed in his face when he said I was there for 30 minutes. He was still fueling....

Have your BOL's ready to be checked when heading south on 5 from oregon. I used to go through there every other day and would usually get stuck behind someone thinking it was a scale!

I probably have 1000 other little ones but those are 2 that come to mind.
Pulling in nose first helps keep the newbies from yanking your hood off, and its also darker. Most guys that do this plan to be there for the night, so its easier to get out, I don't want to park next to you either......lol.....
What he said + pulling in nose first..you don't have to listen to that reefer that was there in the next slot...you don't have to listen to the RoadWarriors that are circling the lot, revving their engines....and you get a good nights sleep..especially if a dry van is on the otherside of you.
