Well,we were using Bridgestone, but now we are going to Goodyears on the steers. I did notice one of the trucks at the warehouse had a set of Goodyears on the drives. Maybe, they wont be going through so many band aids with Goodyear.

Equipping your truck with them will drop aprox 740lbs off the tractor weight which allows them to carry more liquid. Example: diesel weighs 7 pounds per gallon. 470 pounds = an extra 106 gallons of diesel. http://www.michelintruck.com/micheli.../xone/xOne.jsp EDIT: Michelin claims they can drop 800-1300lbs

You guys should watch this video. Michelin testers wired a blasting cap with C4 plastic explosives to one of those super singles to test rapid air loss/blowouts on a tanker full of water grossing 78,000 pounds [/hijack] sorry

We were driving Dad to Fort Smith this morning on I-40. Ahead of us I saw rubber flying through the air from a big rig. Yep, you guessed it, a recap was coming apart. He managed to wrestle it to a stop on the side of the highway and I can imagine blue smoke coming out of that driver's mouth!! 8) 8)
