The State Of The Union will be given tomorrow, at 7.
Before - Questions - Are you planning to watch? Is it worth your time? - What do you think the main subjects will be? - What do you think the new candidates will be listening for, so they can use it in their own campaigns, republicans included? After - Questions - What was your general feel about the presentation? - Did he talk about the 'real' issues at hand? - Was he truthful, or was he 'blah' ? - Anything else you want to add

Will not watch. More of the same political blah, blah and lies to be sure. Beware ---- He'll probably tell us what we want to hear ---- more of the same attempt at smoke and mirrors. I started to ignore this flap a looooooonnnnggg time ago.

I do not have regular TV nor do I want it. More than likely I will read the transcripts from it. I know what Bush's bottom line is after reading the Summit of the Americas mandates that both he and Clinton have agreed to.
Meld this Country with Canada and Mexico and most of the working groups and plans would actually be under the UN. As far as his war plans we cannot win. Iraq is in a civil war now (which before we went in I knew this would happen) and going into Iran is insane. Ron Paul thinks we will escalate the war because we are sending more carriers over and the democrats and representatives are calling for re-deployment not bringing our troops home. Goin Fer It's Wife

I'll be watching and listening closely to "The State of The Union Address". I don't buy into the lines of "no point in listening" or the "my vote doesn't count" ideology.
Will we be told the truth about what is really going on??? If it happens, it'll be a first from this administration!! At the same time, my well-being, and the well being of my family and those who work for me, rest in no small part upon not only being able to clearly understand where we are right now, but the directions we will be headed in the future. |
