When I argue I get mad and when I get mad I say stuff I shouldn't so please don't start this Happy Holidays crap with me. Christmas is the official holiday not something else so we say Merry Christmas but if it was Ogamogla we would say Merry Ogamogla.
Geesh I have to agree with a tea drinker on this one.

As it did with other pagan practices, the Christians (who were a practical lot) simply co-opted the holiday for their own purposes. The descriptions of the time of Christ's birth from the New Testament clearly indicate that it didn't happen in the winter. And since Christians are a minority in the world, there are a whole lot of people who don't observe it as a holiday at all. No lumping people in categories, it never fits everybody... |
