OOIDA Speaks-Call for boycott of Indiana Toll Road
#21
Let the mexican trucks come on up BUT let them follow the same rules we do!!! i have been to the ports and most of the truck operating there need to be pulled off the road. I even seen one driver using a fold up chair as his driver seat . sorry yooper this is a sore subject .

Just incase anything I said was taken wrongly I appologize. I have no problem with drivers from Mexico or Canada operating in the USA. But what I do have a problem with is if they're not required (and actively monitored like US drivers are) to follow the same laws and requirements we (US drivers) have to.

Our Drivers are "actively monitored" *snicker* and I've seen plenty to say that again, its not a mexican driver problem. This is locking the gate well after the horses and all their off spring have died. The toll road thing was also pointed out to be a private enterprise from its inception. You have the choice to run or not run on them. The I-69 Interstate is long over due.

Where was that stated? Anyone who tosses out the brain droppings that smell look and sound like racism.. then you sometime have to call things what they are. ANYONE who spouts off that the mexican drivers are going to do ANY thing worse than some of the drivers we have here is either a bigot, clueless or has never driven a truck anywhere. If you do not want to be called a racist.. stop acting and posting like one. If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck.... its a duck. Unless of course its a white American duck.. then its something else entirely

Here we go again with the "White" thing again
Probably have more miles backing up than you have going forward and Yep-Mexican drivers I've seen coming over the Border on the Majority were horrible drivers. You seem to have the Rascist problem on here.

The majority of commercial vehicle drivers Mexico are very courteous, skilled operators that drive trucks and buses in conditions that would cause the average truck school graduate in the US to turn in his CDL and go home. Roads that are about 30-50 years behind our own in design and construction, with lanes just barely wide enough to accomidate 102" wide vehicles with extremely sharp curves, blind hills and shoulder drop offs that can measure several feet and can turn slick as ice when it rains.
