I got the gist of the article. It also expanded into what potential problems we face in the direction of foreign drivers and security. This is a direction, we might have some hope of controlling.

I'm still trying to wonder how you can regulate foreign investors. I think boycotts or sanctions work only to force the investors to be more crafty and create more loop holes. They either blatantly ignore you with defiance, or lie with greater conviction. Hell...foreign investors are in every facet of American commerce. Corruption is even at the top levels of our own Government, catering to these investors.

I suppose we can chase our own tails, in hopes of biting ourselves in the end. I'm thinking of retiring in Mexico myself. Si Vato.

As for the Indiana Toll Road, it was constructed prior to it being part of the interstate system. It's construction was PRIVATELY financed, it never used a dime of tax payer money. It was controlled by the Indiana Toll Road Commision from 1956 until 1981, when it was turned over to the Indiana DOT.
Dont you DARE try and interject facts in a discussion here! :P

I don't hate America... I hate ignorant low forehead reactionary hillbillies who use hypocritical strange scenarios to bash Mexicans out of sheer convenience. The Mexican drivers cannot destroy an industry that has already been destroyed by the glorified homeless that have flooded the industry. Blaming the Mexicans out of hand is just pathetic!

Et Tu Brute? Over inflated egos are carried by those who use the nationality rather than the actions of drivers to justify their own ignorance and overt bigotry. To say that the Mexican drivers are going to drive or represent themselves any worse than some rather large segments of the US driver corp is just plain normal super trucker asshatery.

Obviously you have difficulty reading. The Main topic of the Thread was a Takeover over a U.S TollRoad from a Foreign Country.

In all fairness, Fozzy wasn't the one who initially brought up Mexican drivers, it was the 2nd poster in this thread, not to mention the fact that the article you quoted talked about Mexican trucks and drivers as well.

To add to that (for those that didn't read the details) the Spanish company they refer too already has a deal to operate the soon-to-be-built new tollroad in Texas as soon as the governor can get the process of "claiming" all the private and public land they need thru emminent domain started...
