So what does that have to do with anything?
My drivers rarely gross less than $4k/week running less than 1200 miles *including all dead head - even dead head to and from home* each week, are rarely more than 100 miles from home during the week, go home whenever they want and can afford their own insurance if they want it - and you think your pay amount is good for a truck?
I am not lying. Me and my drivers will ride this utopia till it ends, usually ends when truckload geniuses find out about it then drive the rates into the dirt - then we'll move onto the next utopia.

That is for my company drivers, not an O/O. Or maybe you don't know the difference? On the same 4 1/2 days runs my O/O's settlements after fuel are 36-4200.00 and they're not paying for plates, liability or cargo. 1200.00 a week to a truck after fuel is an insult. And 55 days to pay is even more of one.

Such puerile arguments, tsk tsk.
For as much as your paying your O/Os, your company drivers are sure getting the shaft, hey? Either that or your O/Os are, most likely, they both are - hard to figure based on your ambiguous posts, so great job there!

So a company driver making 65-70K a year, home 2 1/2 days a week is getting the shaft? And the O/O's working 1 day more than you offered getting 2400-3000.00 more are getting the shaft? It was fun but i'm done. BTW,i see you sort of sidestep the 55 days to pay at your brokerage.

I run a dedicated 714 miles round trip, unload and reload in the same door on both ends, runs past my house each way, home 3 nights a week and every weekend.......10 rounds a month for $1400 a round plus fuel surcharge. Broker load too.

He don't know what he pays, or when he pays it.

The poor credit rating is from the financial crash of 2009 when we paid our carriers late even though we never got paid from customers who went out of business - that was millions of $$ we never were able to recoup. Since that time, we pay within 30 days of getting the invoice - most of the time it is within 15 days, some carriers opt for Quick Pay which happens with 24 hours.
The problem is that once you get a bad credit score, there is a ton of government red tape to go through in order get the rating corrected.
As for you paying your drivers - obviously they are happy enough to stick with your company - again, so what.
The independent who took this lane was ecstatic that it was still available. He has 3 small kids and a wife that works part time - it fits him to a "T".
It's as I said already, if it works, it works, if it don't, then move on.

No, $3.33 is not a dedicated lane, it is an expedite lane with completely different set of requirements, all time extremely sensitive - these lanes typically pay extremely well - - -well, at least until truck load companies discover the lanes and then quickly drive rates into the ground.
