Easy way to check airflow through the radiator..hang a T-shirt on a hanger, in front of it, then idle up the engine as far as you can, with fan on. If airflow is stron the T-shirt should be sucked up into the grill. if airflow is bad...it'll be hanging there flapping.


what color t-shirt?

Was shown that by the International dealer in Portland OR last summer. ops: Had spent over $3,400 on the friggin engine up to that point...for a plugged charge air cooler.

My Cornbinder guru says you must make sure and not use a gay pride t-shirt. They flap in the wind much too easily and could deliver a misleading diagnosis.
