I have a '95 FLD120 that I plan on trying to remount the steering column to a better angle this spring - I think I just need to machine up some spacers or ? I'll let you all know how it goes 8) .

In answer to this I will repeat my reply to an earlier post which was similar:

Be careful about changing anything connected with steering or brakes away from the stock setup.

If there's ever a crash, the lawyers will use that to hang you
Be careful out there.

Whenever I'm in Portland Oregon, I go shopping at the surplus section at Portland Freightliner where they sell "leftover" parts from the factory. I've seen bins full of the factory tilt/tele steering coluums out there. Might want to give them a call. Other than that, truck salvage yard would be your best bet.

Never paid attention to the price, but they're pretty reasonable.

Trick is finding the right item for your application.

I can't beleive that tilt is optional. Teamsters contracts requires it. Not to sound stupid, but are you sure yours doesn't have it?(The unlock mechanism is air operated. There's a button on the floor that you press with your left foot. It's up high, on the firewall you might say- look for it from the ground.)
