To answer you question, yes, I do miss some aspects of truck driving. Of course, I am looking through a 4 month seperation. I seem to remember the good things. Especially, a steady paycheck.

I am thinking about going back to TMC. I left on good terms, so it shouldn't be difficult. I would be a rehire. I do see where they have changed the hiring boundries. I guess I would be Long Haul now. That is where I spent my first six or seven months. I prefer Long Haul. More driving and less tarping and load securement. You get to see more of the country too.

I'll see what the next few weeks bring, I may be seeing you out on the road again, soon.

I heard a driver was killed yesterday in Michigan unloading Griffin Pipe, if this is true, prayers for his family, hate to hear something like this especially this close to Christmas.

I will ride things out because this problem is industrywide, if freight does not pick up around springtime and I am not making at least what I was ealier this year, I will be looking elsewhere, and I not talking trucking. still relatively happy here at TMC, just wish I had more freight to haul.



this is all secondhand, but I was told the forklift driver hit the trailer and knocked the pipe off. of all the things we haul that is probably one of the last things you want to be under when it comes off the trailer.
