There might be 20-25% of the tarped loads we have that may take over an hour. Mainly large lumber loads and also some vinyl siding. For the most part once properly trained ahouldnt take you more than an hour to tarp a load. If you feel it is too dangerous dont do flat bed.

Jerod,

How long have you been flatbedding and tarping loads?

Your previous post on the good and the bad was perfect. My feelings are that someone needs to give both sides and let those who are trying to decide on a career make an informed choice. Although I will often give the negatives as I see them it is because there are plenty who give only the positive.

Fred, who says I am here to bash TMC is wrong. He actually started a cheerleaders website for TMC BEFORE he even started working for them! He never gave the bad points and conned a lot of newbies into thinking that TMC was the dream job of any driver. TMC is not for most new drivers and they should get all the facts before becoming indentured to them.

We are not talking about Fred, we are talking about you. Nothing but negativity comes out of your mouth. You are not giving both sides and your complaints about TMC are mostly subjective. Myself, I have no problems with someone giving a balance opinion about TMC. While not perfect I still think it is the best company to work for out there. And, yeah, that is a subjective opinion.

Hi ho, hi ho,
back to TMC, I go.

It's in my blood and I can't help myself. I have to be in Des Moines on Monday to inprocess and get a new truck. I really liked my old one. I may sit a day or two for a min-orrientation. It is winter time, I guess you have to wait for a load. 8)

Sorry chump, I post objectively. Just the facts without the rose colored glasses that you wear. "We" are talking about whoever "We" want to and I don't know who appointed you the thread moderator. If Fred can make asinine comments about me then he can take a dig himself.

So much for your BS story of obligations and 10 dogs that have to fend for themselves. I think you realized that you couldn't get a local job and had to go whining back to TMC. But that's just an opinion.

I come to this thread to read the posts, because I see quite a few TMC trucks. Could be that some of these drivers may say something about passing through Wichita Falls. TerryLamar, included. He has posted on here that he has passed through here. We havent me in person, nor talked on the cb radio, but I find it interesting that Terry, and others from the board pass through Wichita Falls. I just found out that Terry has quit TMC, and then he is now going back. Good for him.

Now, why did you say that? Of course, it's none of my business, but why the personal attack?
Honestly, it's none of your business, nor anyone else's why Terry quit TMC in the first place, but he gave a reason anyway. It does not matter if Terry had to stay closer to home if he had to care for a loved one, or if he just got tired of being gone all the time, but was there a purpose for that unsult that you had to say, just because of his reason for quitting, and returning to TMC?

SnakeIze

Do this for us:

With your right hand, make a fist. Hold the fist in front of you with the back of your hand facing you. Point your index finger up and your thumb pointing to your left; keeping your other fingers clenched. Place your hand on your forehead with the thumb crossing your eyebrows. With your hand in this position go look in a mirror.

Where Fred comes from, you would be referred to as a chooch.

When you have a weak argument, resort to deflection and name calling. Snake_Ize seems to be incapable of expressing his position based on anything more than emotion. You have rendered yourself irrelevant

Despite the ongoing aruguement going on in this message board. It is a message board developed for anyone interested in TMC Transportation. Allowing anyone to ask anything or comment about anything about the company. Maybe someone out there has something they want to know about the company?

Sure  ..how about is the transflo still going to have a turnaround time that matters to percentage calculation?

Do linehaul drivers spend at least 34 hours home when they're home on the weekends, or is 2 hours through the house to do laundry really considered a "weekend" home?

And last, but certainly not least (for today at least :)), why do you guys haul so much COPPER, and why does it seem my husband gets stuck with at least 3 loads of it a month :?
