Yep lol. Two guys I started out with NEVER smoked but now that they're drivers, smoke two packs a day.

Come on Terry! What happened to make you leave "The Best"? Let the newbies know how TMC really is.

I explained it elsewhere, but I'm happy to do it again for a TMC basher. I have obligations, 10 dogs at home, I have no one to help me out taking care of them and rather than letting them fend for themselves for a week or two at a time I decided to leave TMC and find a local position. I enjoyed my time with TMC, made alot of money and I am having withdrawal pains right now.

Don't worry Terry, Snake Ize ALWAYS pops in to bash TMC. He's got nothing better to do I guess.
I miss TMC too and may return there in the spring.

In reality, the only person that truly deplores TMC on this thread is YOU. Most or all of the ex TMC drivers that have departed the company have left for personal, not "the company sucks" reasons that you pine for. They for sure have there moments, I will agree, but they are a decent company to work for.

You're mouthing off and spouting false info...again. Find one post where I said TMC sucks. I have given factual information gained from being in the employ of TMC but I have not been a cheerleader like you and a few others.

I left TMC because I found that local pays better and has better benefits. The cheerleaders here give newbies a big bunch of bull on TMC being the best instead of giving all the facts. Of course for those cheerleaders that have never driven for another company they really don't know any better.
I believe the newbies have a right to both sides and not let the shiny chrome blind them.

Fact is that most drivers don't last a year with TMC and those that go to school expecting TMC to reimburse them will end up owing a lot of money to TMC. You owe it to the new guys to be honest with them and not BS them so you can get more trainee pay.

Well unless I wreck my truck this week I will make the one year mark, and still going strong.

I know Sysco and US Foodservice hire regularly. HEB has a new delivery warehouse in San Marcos that they're running trucks out of now and hear that they are a good company to drive for. That is if you want to do food delivery. I've been entertaining the idea myself.
