Reguarding leaving the trailer at a rest area while at home, of course it would be empty if it were left there. Leaving it loaded would be like leaving your personal belongings at a rest area for the weekend. lol.

My question was does TMC allow drivers to bobtail home for days off? Because someone was saying that they make you take the flatbed trailer home with you on another thread and he was saying,

"Not many people have a parking spot for a tractor-trailer at their home."

You do realize that trucks aren't allowed in downtown Atlanta unless you are making a d/l. We are restricted to the outer loop.

The camera fee is because some people use it for personal use. The bunk warmer??? That's odd. I don't get the prepass though. You should not have to pay for that in my opinion. It may be a convenience for you but it's cheaper for TMC.

I go home every weekend with a loaded trailer. Since I can't park at my house I leave it in a business park and I have an officer that checks on it several times a day. Most drivers I know are in the same boat as far as parking. We all go home loaded every weekend for a monday morning d/l.

Also, which pay option do most drivers choose with TMC?:

- % of the load

- CPM

thanks.

mf, if you know anyone close to you with acreage, you could ask them if you can park there for the weekends. It never hurts to ask around, the worst you will get is a "No."

Yup sounds like a wind tunnel, if in you finds a fix plz lets me know,
I think its coming from the fresh air access on the door to dash boots,

Plus what do you do in lieu of disconnecting the TMC door light that blinds your mirror view? I purposely disconnected the passanger one it was so blinding.

On the 387 don't let the tray get full of debree that is under the hood just under the center of the windshield. If it doesn't drain properly then water will overflow into the cab thru the dash.

As far as the light. use a 67? I think is the correct # for a lower wattage bulb that won't blind you.
