By far the worst company to drive for.If they steal the penny per gallon of a drivers pay back card just imagine what else they do to screw the driver.Stay away

Disgruntled former employee?

How many companies have you worked for? Are you qualified to label them the WORST?

Personally your post didn't make any sense to me. Could you clarify what they did?

Just how the hell would they be able to steal a penny per gallon from your payback card? I'm assuming you're talking about the cards that you get at the pilot/flying j, loves, etc. The company has no access to them unless you hand it to them and say "here - use this". That card is YOUR property.

maybe i can help out with this one.this company does have flaws.i will say the good things first.the people that work there were always freindly to me.then orientation was easy and painless.they got me home most of the time that i was supose to be there.and the pay was ok if you ran hard.now the bad.they love to run you ilegal.i remember running 18 hour days more than once.there safty record is horrible which means you get pulled into scales and inspected alot.the trucks were junk when i was there.left me broken down more than i was running.you will run alot of east coast.on a scale from 1 to 10 i would give them a 5.there not great but not to horrible.this is my opinion take it how you want to.i only worked here for a litle over 6 months.but i hope it helps thanks

the way they steal the penny a mile.he is refering to the pilot payback card.mcleod uses only piot for fuel.and you do not get the penny per gallon on your payback card.mcleod gets the points and some how sells them back to pilot.

I'm sure they are not the only company that has a deal with Pilot to get better rates in exchange for exclusive use and thereby forfeit the 'driver payback' I dont see how a minor detail like this could be a deal breaker.

They can only "get the points" if THEY issue you the card and not Pilot.

maybe I am wrong.

But if this is the case, then the easiest thing in the world to do, would be to stop using the "Payback" card.

I had heard something about that with respect to Schnieder a few years ago. In their contracts with the truck stop chains, the driver did not get any of the points. Instead, the company got the fuel for that much less per gallon. Drivers did not get the payback points or the free showers. I've never experienced that myself, just what I was told. This company may be doing the same thing.

I'm with Stan on this, if THEY issue the card then I can see this happening but if you go and get the card yourself then how can they do that? Who's to say your not an O/O using that card?
