your right. After the BS reason they gave for the first one to bounce, the drivers should have hit the door after check number 2 does it make it.

Yeah I like the way Democrats operate. The Democrats via absurd financial regulations made the financial institutions give low interest loans to minorities who had no hope of ever repaying the loans back, then when the inevitable eventually happens and the fed is forced to raise interest rates it set the stage for the domino effect that led to the financial collapse. Then as usual the Democrats got on their high horse and blamed the Wall Street fat cats for the financial collapse that they were actually responsible for creating to begin with. Talk about getting your cake and eating it too.

Meanwhile, the democrat constituency is too uneducated and thick skulled to figure it out, and the Democrats get away with another fast one. It works every time.

You mean like B. Hussein Obama who ran as a moderate but morphed into an unhinged radical as soon as he was inaugurated? Nevertheless, because the Democrats are literally giving the bird to the American people by cramming that healthcare monstrosity down the American people’s throat, by this time next year there will be a ton of Democrats in Congress packing their bags to move back home after losing their reelections in November.

In any event, it’s couldn’t be more obvious that because B. Hussein Obama and other radicals consider themselves to be citizens of the world as opposed to the USA, they are trying to clandestinely bankrupt the federal government in order to make it fall, which inevitably would set off a chain reaction throughout the world. Then they are hoping they can pick up the pieces and create that one world government Socialist utopia that all you delusional leftist dream and fantasize about.

lmao @ the politics.

sucks, I feel for the drivers, though I question why any rational person would still be working for them. maybe we'll get some of their odd freight.

I can say that people stuck with Arrow as long as they did because we all hoped it would get better. That it was just a really rough patch we had to ride out. Something would go wrong, hiccup, and managment always had a feasable answer and an apparent fix to the problem. There were overhauls in upper level management that gave us hope of change. Most of us at Arrow were really like family, and this disaster has brought all of us back together - even folks like me who did leave a little earlier.

I just went through the hire process - I have experience, a clean record, and even time in the safety department. Finding work isn't as easy as it used to be. I know a lot of my friends who were still driving with Arrow figured the grass wasn't greener on the other side right now and were just trying to outlast the winter. Little did we know Doug would do us all in days before Christmas with only a few hours of notice. It wasn't that long ago that Arrow was a great company, one you could be proud to work for. Now I have countless friends both drivers and in house who are unemployed with very few options. Thankfully other companies are stepping up to help the drivers out - Crete has been using my contacts in the fleet to start the hiring process rolling for some, and I've seen other companies step up too.

It is good that Crete and other carriers are attempting to help move these displaced drivers into another job. I am glad that you were able to help them with some of your contacts. I am sure the drivers really appreciate anything you can do for them.

Good thing arrow is not Union. Cuz i can see all the union haters coming in blaming it all on the union. :smokin:
OK, I'll jump on the union hater stage. Sure the union would have ensured the drivers had transportation home when the company shut the doors, but it would have been two years ago because they would have gone under that much sooner paying into the Jimmy Hoffa memorial Teamster executive vacation and hooker fund.

Its only the people who are non-union who complain, are you jealous teamsters get paid for their time? If Arrow was union sure they might have closed their doors 2 years ago, like they should have who knows. The drivers would still be able to draw a pension if they were vested and would have enough money to fly back home if they were stranded. The trucking industry is not going to get any better for truckers until everybody unites against low pay and long unpaid hours. Be honest you wish you were driving that brown truck pulling doubles that you just passed.
