Quote: Actually Paul, pain killers are allowed, as long as they are DOCTOR prescribed, and you receive medical clearance to return to work after using them. Don't know who told you different.

As for the kidney stone.....Cranberry Juice along with the water. Grapefruit Juice works ok too! As for optional fluids...Corona with lime....Samuel Adams....Budweiser..MGD...all induce frequent urination.....though not doctor recommended!

Hey Orangetxguy, how ya been?

Was talking to a driver on cell, He suggested the same, go hit a bar and drink up. it would cause urination and dull the pain.

thanks for the info.

Hi everyone,

Im at the TA Denver going onto my second nite here. Last I heard the trailer Im suppose to hook up to is about 800 miles out so I figure I won't get it till tommrrow morning or so.

On another note...

I still havent given birth to this dang alien egg inside of me. I feel fine and have been funneling the p##s but still nothing. I have cut back on drinking fluids because I got tired of running to the head every 10-15 minutes and going into a stall. Didn't want to get my A@$ kicked someone thinking i'm a dang pervert:hellno:

I need to hit a wrecking yard for big trucks and see if I can find a real reefer to put inside here. I did the ice thing and that was a pain The Coleman Coolers are ok but ya gotta buy motors for these things everyonce in awhile.

problem with JB is we cant have a big inverter. The inverter has to run off the plug sockets in the sleeper area. I have a little cobra that is 800 peak and 400 watt continuos.

Hey dewercs2, here you are. I wondered what happened to you. Figured you might have started a new thread. Man, you go to vans and all hell breaks loose huh? Keep us informed. I'm following your posts. I keep the Arrow thread up to date but I think Arrow's days are numbered. Read my posts and you'll see why. Seriously thinking of quitting soon. Hope you get well soon. How did the ploice report read?. Later

I just heard from Paul and he's fine. Did some changing at JB Hunt. He's been busy.

Sorry folks got lazy and been busy....

So JB Hunt has been a little different ontop of not doing flatbed loads. Most of my loads pickup during the day but on some fridays I will be in LA and have made my delivery. For some reason JB wont let us go home at that time. I'll have a load (local) to pickup later at night and then deliver 4,5,6am Sat which plays havoc on trying to figure out how to be legal with my log. After that i'll head home for a reset.

My pay has been from high to low with low taking me on runs from LA to Vegas and not getting miles.

My better runs will run me from LA to AZ with 2 or 3 drops spread out to Tucson. Last week I had a run from LA to AZ with 4 drops and at my last drop I retraced my steps and went to addtional stores plus the ones I had dropped at and the same day. I get pay for additional stops minus 1st and last. My pay for this 5 1/2 days out has been low end 389 and high end 600. avg is about 480 to 530.

I was in Phx on thursday and spoke to my DM as I walked in he stopped me and asked if I would like to go local? I asked here in phx no. He laughed and said over in San Bernardino. I told him that before coming to his board I had spoken to the terminal mgr at the yard there and he had put my name on his list. He told me that I was maybe 18-20th on the list and that he didn't know when he would get down to me. My DM told me to go back to the Terminal Mgr and make sure I was on his list.

So..... who knows I might be going local here soon. From my understanding the local guys are netting about 900 a week.

JB Hunt is very, very safety focused and wants things done there way. if you cant do it there way you wont be here long. everything is dispatched from Arkansas except for local guys, rail and the southwest closed loop guys, which Im apart of.

Equiptment has been maintained which has always been my concern. I did have about two weeks of blowing tires on trailers. but then the roadservice was out quickly and I was running in about 2 hours or less. I found out the tires are recaped 3 times before they cant be capped again. Most of the tires were blowing were the older caps.
JB is trying a new company wide air pressure of 105 in all of there tires to see what happens. so far I havent blown any tires yet..

Well I'm at home and frankly dont have alot of time left. so Im logging off and spend a bit more time with the family. when I can I'll log back on.

Hi all,

If you have not heard the flat bed company I worked for before coming to JB Hunt has shut down. Arrow Trucking has shut off the fuel cards leaving hundreds of drivers stuck. I went to google and so far there is about 22 news posts about this closure.
