Default Shout out to gman and rev

Hey you two. I remember ya'll from back in 2006 when I was researching trucking companies. As you may (or more likely may not) remember, I went to Swift trucking school, drove for two months, and went home and got a local driviing job. One thing lead ot another and I went on to become a HAZMAT Driver, then pulled doubles for FED EX ground for a month and now, for the last 12 months I've been a Realtor (lol) and have closed an escrow once per quarter. Now I need to drive again rebuild my reserves, hence my coming back into trucking.

After my decision to go back into trucking, I hit this board again (after an almost 3 yr hiatus) and I noticed you're still here. Hence the shout out.:nixon:

Best of luck getting back into trucking. The market is very tight right now.

TY Rev. Things are tough right now, understood, but I Think I have a bead on an OTR job with a "recession proof" carrier out of DFW. They haul goods that people need regardless of the economy, so I think things will work out.

There is no such thing as a recession proof job, no matter what you do. Well, unless you work for the government. There are some that are effected to a much lesser degree. In any case, good luck.

I started to say... You could do that if you are a democrap, working for President Osama.

T Storm, welcome back!! I wondered what happened to ya. Last I heard, you were ready to pull your hair out, so you went local.
You got tired of selling homes? Maybe you can give me one.

Seriously, I hope it works out for ya this time around. It sounds like it's in your blood. Cool beans.

Good to see ya. Don't be a stranger.

Reason I ask is the Great Wide's ad says "haul recession proof freight".
