I am sure a lot of companies are going to turn me away immediately when they see "2 preventables" on my record, even if it wasn't a big deal.
I also have a speeding ticket in my car for doing 89 in a 70 mph zone back in Nov 2007. My question is how long do I have to wait for these companies to stop giving a damn about what I've done? a year? 2 years? 3 years? And when I say companies, i mean good ones. The ones that pay. UPS , fedex, R&L, yellow, saia freight, etc. thanks turn in your cdl to the nearest dmv monday morning

Mark you do need to slow down and not just when driving but also your mouth! 19 over is a big deal and so is 2 accidents. When you come on here and ask a question you may hear things you don't like but it's the truth! Nobody got down on you til you smarted off! This board might be filled with a bunch of old farts but they've got millions of miles of exp and will share what they know ya just don't *%$# with them
.It would behoove you to listen to them. As far as a good job with a good co. at this point your just gonna have to keep your nose clean and you MVA clean and keep trying

When you have a "CDL" anything that is 10 miles per hour "over" is "suspect" to insurance companies. Anything 15 miles per hour over is "reckless". Simply because you were in your personal vehicle doesn't let you off the hook. The fact that you were ticketed for 19 "over", plus the fact that you have "mulitple" backing accidents, tells employer and insurer alike, that you have "reckless" tendencies. You "OWE" feederfred an apology...Fred did his time at UPS...and has the retirement check to show for it...what do you expect to have in 35 years?? And learn how to use your mirrors!

I dont know, but Im guessing a couple more speeding tickets and a whole bunch of preventibles.
Seriously though. The 2 prevents are no big deal by themselves, but the 19 over just sealed your fate. If you have not been fired, dont piss them off. It may be the only place you can Drive.
