Someone asked me today if I had heard anything about the rumor that big orange was taking all their trucks off of the road due to the high fuel prices. I just said no. Seemed quite unlikely to me. But maybe after J.B. buys TMC and then sells them to Swift. And after Superior Carriers buys Maverick just to get the freightbase.

I also heard today that Rev bought out Steve Booth Transport and the first thing he did was smash Steve's calculator. The one that didn't take into account deadhead miles when calculating what a load paid per mile.

That's ridiculous. He clearly doesn't own a calculator.

No its more of a merger. They're selling their trucks and teaming for some mega carrier.

When news breaks, someone posts it. Then, once the conversation proceeds for a while, someone else posts the same news as if the first discussion had never taken place. Then, once that second thread gets a reply or two, someone else posts a generic question vaguely mentioning the news item, as if the prior two discussions hadn't already answered the question.

Since this sequence hasn't appeared today, I'm guessing the news (if there is news) hasn't broken.

Ummmmmm Nevermind.

Lol....Just kidding.
Im still trying to figure out what is going on. Believe me, something is going on. Maybe my "source" was wrong. However, I dont think so because of some other reasons.
Im going to wait and see what happens tomorrow. And believe me, If I was wrong about this, I owe everyone beer. You just have to come to NW arkansas to get it.
