I don't think I'm anywhere close to reaching that point of "undesireable" stage.

OUTSTANDING....you should be able to work anywhere you want.
For the most part it really doesnt become a problem until you have like 5 or 6 jobs in the last few years or 10 jobs in 10 years.
A little job hopping is great.....hell, I need y'all..lol. But always try to keep it to a minimum.

job hopping away from mighty Shaffer??? When I left last summer( with MANY other drivers) some responses from some Shaffer ''fans'' were like:
OH, YOU ARE AN EXCEPTION! I see not much has changed. 2 days for a 10 mile run.......selecting between a BAD or a BAD load....Sounds like Shaffer how I knew it(from 2007).Nothing has changed. I am glad I am out.

well I thought that spring was pretty much here, but we just got pounded with like a FOOT of snow. That is a lot considering it seldom snows here at all.

Wal-Mart-- whom requires haz-mat endorcement

Just curious, if you are for certain about this, I have several friends driving for Wal-Mart and they do not have haz-mat and won't be getting it anytime soon.
Some drive out of the Buckeye DC in AZ other are in IL. Wonder if that makes a difference...

Might want to look at CRST Van Ex. They have a program where you could be her trainer and you drive as a team. But you stay out for 3 weeks at a time. They have a terminal in Carslie, PA I believe.

Looked at them too. Been working brain overtime. looking for answers. If one company says we will be home every other weekend. We would take it. Don't know what problem is we live in Pittsburgh pa.

Or, he could just shoot himself in the head and skip the rest of the misery being a super trucker would entail.

Default Wow

I hate to hear it Headborg but understand. Been chatting with quite a few Crete drivers the last few months that have been unhappy too and are planning on leaving. I also am starting to look but plan on later this year so taking my time.

Was even at my Ottawa terminal and was asked to chat to a driver that was thinking of turning his truck in because he could never get home. It was bizarre as I am planning on leaving myself and am unhappy at Crete myself. Anyway after chatting with him for over an hour he planned on sticking around for a bit more.

Good luck Headborg. Also have you thought of Marten. They used to be a good company but haven't heard anything new on them the past 2-3 years?
